Beam.
A Beam can be used to support the load of a wall across services of where it would be unwise to pour concrete. They also come in useful where roots of trees need to be safe guarded, a beam can be laid in this case to bridge over the root system.
Beams can be used to carry the weight of a concrete pour, for an entrance in over a stream or ditch as long as the environment agency is informed of your intentions.
