Knee rail
A barrier used along-side paving or roadways to prevent access normally 60cm high and erected with 3 inch posts concreted in and 3 inch rails which are horizontal fixed with a galvanized strap.
On some enclosed sites were there is motor traffic i.e. car parks. It may be best to consider erecting a larger size timber 4-6inch timbers and maybe use round timbers. All timbers to be pressure treated as a formality. The knee rail is not ornate but is functional.
