The Challenge:
I was approached last summer by the Bristol
Language Project regarding raised courtyard at the rear of their teaching
rooms in Clifton, Bristol. The site was used as a milling area for
the students but it was unattractive and unsafe because the paving
had been lifted by tree roots and there was no safety barrier at the
edge of the paving. The photo clearly show the problem.
