Proposal:
My advice was to remove the tree stumps and roots, lift the uneven
paving and dispose of, level the ground, prepare planting holes for
the specimen plants and lay a membrane for the gravel. I recommended
a balustrade to be fitted on the edge of the paving and the high
steps to be made safe.
